Before our partnership, SWAG Golf’s email marketing strategy was not optimized for its launch-centric business model.

Additionally, their subscriber list was underutilized, and the pre-purchase and post-purchase flows were underperforming.

To support SWAG’s launch-centric business model, we implemented a high email cadence, featuring daily campaigns designed to build anticipation and maximize launch day sales.

Subscriber Growth Enhancements:

We successfully increased SWAG’s subscriber growth by 1,100%.

This growth strategy has been a cornerstone of improving overall engagement and reach.

1️⃣ 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐩-𝐔𝐩𝐬 We utilized pop-ups with countdown timers to not only capture leads but also create urgency. This simple technique has been incredibly effective in encouraging more sign-ups.

2️⃣ 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞: By turning our Instagram followers into leads through engaging stories, we directed them to landing pages. This approach has transformed our social media presence into a potent lead generation tool.

We also integrated SMS within the countdown phases.

As a brand focused on collectors, we reached out to loyal collectors who hadn’t signed up for SMS, offering them the chance to “𝘕𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘢 𝘋𝘙𝘖𝘗 𝘈𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.

These strategies have not only buoyed our email list but have also built anticipation and engagement, ensuring our audience is ready and excited for every launch.

Weekly Strategy Collaborations: We conducted regular meetings with the SWAG team to align on content planning and performance-driven creative ideas.

 

Tailored Email Copywriting and Design: Our content teams produced campaign, promotional, and narrative-driven copy, complemented by high-performing visuals optimized for mobile users, all aligned with SWAG’s brand voice.

 

Robust Campaign Execution: Utilizing Klaviyo, we managed campaign setups, conducted segmentation and A/B testing, and scheduled sends to optimize delivery and engagement.

 

Effective List Management: We focused on subscriber segmentation, deliverability health, and continuous growth tracking, ensuring SWAG’s email list remained robust and dynamic.

Strategic Campaign Cadence: Aimed at guaranteeing sustained engagement, we maintained a consistent flow of 2–4 emails per week, supplemented by strategic SMS sends.

List Growth Strategies

We leveraged countdown timers on pop-ups for SWAG Golf to build anticipation and excitement for our limited-edition drops, creating a sense of urgency and driving engagement.

From here, the recipients receive a tailored Welcome email notifying they're on the list for the specific drop building excitement. 💀

We also utilized Klaviyo and Meta's integration to run Lead Generation list building ads for particular drops throughout the year.

As SWAG have a big social media following, again this was an audience that could be leveraged to build their active subscriber base.

The Results

  • 80% Increase in Email Marketing Revenue in 60 Days: Our strategies led to an 80% increase in revenue from email marketing in just two months. By focusing on launch-centric campaigns, we were able to significantly boost sales during key product releases.

  • Subscriber List Growth: We successfully increased SWAG’s subscriber growth by 1,100%.
